“Uniting by Design” – Episode #21 of Co-creating Peace
A podcast series about conscious communication and conflict transformation.
In this episode, I am joined by my friend and fellow mediator, Mark Bennett, to talk about his newest book, Uniting by Design: the Architecture of Creative Collaboration for Organizations…Teams…and Groups.
Unification is something that is so needed in today’s world, and having some clear concepts and tools with which to do that can make that so much easier!
Mark D. Bennett draws upon deep experience with organizations of all sizes and types. He first learned about the challenges of organizations as a trial lawyer focused on civil and employee rights. He transformed his practice to mediation and conflict resolution and devoted over 20 years helping leaders bridge differences and make peace. He has also taught these skills to thousands. He is the co-author of The Art of Mediation.
For the past 23 years, he has supported leaders and teams to make values-based decisions that earn credibility, maintain accountability, and establish integrity. He has presented a practical process for making critical decisions to leaders around the world and regularly facilitates wise strategic planning for businesses, nonprofits, and government agencies. He is the co-author of A Field Guide to Good Decisions: Values in Action.
As a consultant and coach, he guides leaders to increase collaboration and build healthy organizational cultures with the capacity to adapt to change and uncertainty.
