“Breaking the Chain of Conflict” – Episode #5

In this episode, I talk about what I call The Chain of Conflict and how to break that chain. Conflict is very rarely a spontaneous event. More often, conflict is a result of a series of events – often subtle at first – that lead up to it. When one of those events happens, we might be confused by it or have our feathers slightly ruffled, but we decide not to “make a mountain out of a molehill”, or choose not to inquire or address it for some other reason. Yet, we often begin to write a story in our head about the incident, why it happened, what the other person’s intention was, etc. These are the first two links in the Chain of Conflict. Listen to learn more about the Chain of Conflict and how you can break it.
